BERLIN: Pakistani music star Atif Aslam shared a light-hearted video following his performance at Berlin’s famous Uber Arena, jokingly pretending not to recognise his own name after joining the venue’s celebrated list of international performers.
In the Instagram video, Atif could be seen walking around the arena and looking at photographs of prominent artists who have previously performed there, including Usher, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Michael Bublé.
“Oh man, all these amazing artists have performed here at the Uber Arena,” Atif remarked as he explored the display.
The singer then noticed that the performers pictured at the venue were holding bear keepsakes.
“Everyone is holding a bear in their hands. I think the Uber Arena team gave it to all of them,” he said.
Atif then showed the bear he had received following his own performance and humorously pretended to have no idea who it belonged to.
“And I don’t know who they gave this one to… I don’t know what this person’s name is,” he joked before reading “Atif Aslam” written underneath.
Continuing the playful act, the singer told his followers that he did not know who “this guy” was and invited them to identify him.
“If you happen to know, do tell me,” he added jokingly.
The moment highlighted another milestone for the Pakistani singer, whose photograph now features on the arena’s wall alongside those of international stars who have performed at the Berlin venue.
Uber Arena has a tradition of presenting bear trophies as keepsakes to artists performing at the venue, and Atif received his own following the concert.
