KARACHI: China’s Consul General in Karachi Li Bijian has greeted the Pakistan Government as well as the people of Pakistan on the august occasion of 75th Independence Day anniversary of Pakistan that is being observed today (Sunday) throughout the country with zeal and fervor.
In a message on the occasion, Li Bijian said: “On the occasion of the 75th Independence Day anniversary, I would like, on behalf of the Consulate General of China in Karachi, to extend our warm congratulations to the government and people of Pakistan.
“With the unremitting efforts and hard work, Pakistan has been making continuous progresses and achievements in the national building and her comprehensive national strength has been ever expanding. Today, Pakistan is one of the most important players and contributors to the peace, stability and development of the region and the whole world.
“With the concerted efforts by both sides, the bilateral relations and cooperation between China and Pakistan in all the fields have been ever strengthening and expanding, and CPEC has brought tremendous achievements and benefits in the social and economic sectors of Pakistan.
“China’s commitment in CPEC is strong and lasting. My Consulate was, has been and will work closely with Pakistan brothers and sisters, and spare no efforts to contribute to bring the bilateral relations to a new height.
