Blessings innumerable,
Nature’s favours countless,
Creators Bounties unlimited,
Expression of gratitude, limited.
Man by Nature, not inherent,
But induced by will,
Or by evil design of self,
Obstinately refuses thankfulness.
Some born in loneliness,
Some in settings of jubilation
Both eternal complainers,
One for misfortune, other for greed.
Until eternal loss of relationships
Of Parents. Siblings, children,
Significant half and other loved ones
All taken for granted in thanklessness.
If the heartbeat variates from 72
Per minute, and hundred thousand,
Per day, and a billion times in a life,
Man feels unwell, but remains ungrateful.
No thanks conveyed to the Liver,
That in Divine command releases,
34 fluid ounces of Bile, and no less
Or more, yet man is thankless.
302 bones, small and large,
Through Divine architecture,
Joined together, Gives a shape,
Beautiful, but unappreciative is man.
Blessed with eyes to see His Creation,
And vision to see the unseen,
To hear the noise of Nature,
A pair of ears, yet unthankful.
A life spent with focus on lacking,
In constant comparison, man draws
Maliase of depression, instead of
Celebration of the Nature’s Largesse.
Conferred with His Munificience,
Not as meed for good deeds, but,
As a meed, reflecting His Mercifulness,
Man proves time after time, ungratefulness.
Our numerous failures, blessed with
Unquantifiable honour, no retribution,
Man enjoys unabatedly, imagine, what
Shall be the guerdon of gratitude?
Alas! Man is in haste,
Trading for gains now,
Than for Hereafter
Perilous is the end.
Nothing, but nothing, is more unkind,
Than man’s ingratitude to man.
Rebellious is the spirit, wants to elope
With the soul, noble, purely pristine.
Himalayan is the tragedy,
Where lunacy dances as wisdom,
And where intellect leads to a life
Of hellish ingratitude, towards Creator.
Failure to appreciate Bounties unlimited,
Bestowed still without measure,
Man”s ingratitude, with no respects,
Looms upon the anvil, a quiet backlash.
