ISLAMABAD: The officers of NH&MP N-5 North Zone Inspector Ghulam Abbas and Inspector Ishrat Mumtaz was on routine patrolling found a nine-year old girl sitting in a bus alone, says a Press release.
According to detail, the NH&MP personnel while on patrolling in Rawat City a bus number LES 7278 stopped near the patrolling mobile and informed them that there is a girl of about 9 years old in the bus and there is no one with her.
After initial investigation, it was revealed that the girl’s name was Alina Dildar daughter of Dildar resident of Multan. She further informed them that she came with her uncle to Rawalpindi and was working in someone’s house where she was beaten on routine basis and today after getting a chance she ran away from there.
Alina did not remember any contact number of her parents so she was handed over to Ms. Nazia Tabassum (0322 5484636), a Child Protection Officer in Child Protection Department Punjab for further proceedings.
The DIG N-5 North Zone Muhammad Alam Shinwari admired and appreciated the officers and urge them to exhibit same enthusiasm in discharge of their official obligations.
