Raisa Adil appointed Principal Information Officer (PIO)

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Government has appointed Ms. Raisa Adil, a senior BS-20 officer of the Information Group, as the new Executive Director General/Principal Information Officer (PIO), Press Information Department (PID), Islamabad, with immediate effect. The appointment was notified by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on Wednesday.
Prior to her new assignment, Raisa Adil was serving as Executive Director General, External Publicity Wing, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, where she played a significant role in promoting Pakistan’s image internationally and strengthening the country’s public diplomacy initiatives.
Her appointment as Principal Information Officer has been widely welcomed by members of the media fraternity and officials of the Information Group, who regard it as a well-deserved recognition of her distinguished professional career, administrative capabilities and commitment to public service.
Throughout her career, Raisa Adil has earned a reputation for professionalism, integrity and efficient public administration.
