A nation born on the night of the 27th of Ramadan, where people who speak many languages happily live together under the umbrella of one national language, Urdu. Here the culture and civilization, the brotherhood and peaceful coexistence are cherished. One creed, one identity – every nation is proud of its identity, and we Pakistanis too are proud of our nationality.
Problems and disagreements are part of every society, but one thing that many Pakistanis feel is that every grievance here has become the basis for forming a political movement. It is urgently necessary to put the direction of politics on the right course. Like a runaway horse, people form political parties and take to the streets with theatrical protests; if no one notices them, they resort to arson, vandalism and chaos to force recognition – it has become their habit. These frequent agitations often lack leadership and purpose. In the current situation, people are still devastated by floods; hunger and homelessness have not been eliminated, and yet drama at the border over Afghans has begun. The race for chief minister in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has caused confusion, the religious card was played, and when there are so many fronts open, no country’s loyalty can withstand it.
We are already fighting the conspiracies of the enemy India, and now, by opening new chapters of unrest from within, some people sit back while there is arson, sieges and destruction. Trying to wreck the administrative machinery and provoke conflict with our own police and army – such shocking acts cannot be the work of patriotic Pakistanis. Taking the law into one’s own hands and calling it making a path to peace for oneself is impossible.
When a peace agreement was reached in Gaza, a revolutionary movement like Hamas accepted a pact with a terrible enemy for the sake of its people’s peace – which is surprising. For years dormant Islamic parties came out onto the streets to defy their own government and their own armed forces to prove themselves right. Where courage was needed to fight, there was no willingness to go; instead they performed bravado at home – what kind of jihad is that?
It seems Israeli agents are hidden within these crowds, who, under the cover of protest movements, pursue their malicious goals while the poor, gullible public are caught and harmed in the middle; the blame then falls on governments and the army. Now, for the honor and safety of our homeland, it is necessary to root out the wolves hiding in the skin of the crowd. Stability in Pakistan is our right. The loss of any Pakistani’s life pains us deeply – whether that person is from any province, belongs to any political party, or is a member of our army or police. We must identify the agents and devils hidden among our ranks, and political parties must be reorganized.
The natural resources God has given should fairly bring prosperity to all provinces. Organize public awareness about water and financial resources. Pakistan is a land that belongs to all of us; every part of it has been adorned by God’s blessings – for whom? For the people who live in this region. Without regard to color, race, or political affiliation, let us uphold the rights of the Pakistani people, not give support to enemies, and work for our country’s stability through consultation and equality. What a beautiful country Pakistan is let us come together and nurture it.
