Hum Awam Pakistan team visits CTSF’s Rida Medical Centre
A delegation of the Top political leadership of “Hum Awam Pakistan” visited the Captain Tarana Saleem Foundation accompanied by Chairman Tahir Aziz Khan, Secretary General Arshad Jamal, Vice Chairman Syed Imdad Hussain Naqvi and Joint Secretary Muhammad Shoaib Khan during the week.
Rida Medical Center located in 13D, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Karachi is a ray of hope for the poor and helpless peoples, during the visit free health cards were given away to deserving and poor families to avail all the medical facilities under one roof. Apart from this, food and medicine are also provided to the patients by Tarana Saleem Foundation. Chairman Tahir Aziz Khan distributed health cards among the poor on the occasion.
On this occasion leadership of Hum Awam Pakistan, praised Tarana Saleem’s efforts for charitable work and paid tribute to him. Secretary General Arshad Jamal said that our political party is working for the presidential system in the Country so that a team of capable and best people of Pakistan can run the affairs of this country and move the country in the right direction.
Portal ‘SAMWECK’ inaugurated
FPCCI Convener Women Entrepreneur Committee Nazli Abid Nisar has taken an initiative to form a Portal “SAMWECK” Support A Mom Women Entrepreneur Council to support Women business community and Women entrepreneurs. The portal was inaugurated by Vice President FPCCI, Sultan Rehman and Mian Zahid at FPCCI head office Karachi during the week.
In here address on the occasion Ms. Nazli Abid said that the government should immediately announce an immediate package for women involved in event planning, fine business, fashion designing and other fields. However, the sectors in which women are employed are facing many difficulties and multiple challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, opportunities should be provided at the national level for women connected with all these sectors. We have always paid our business tax to the government honestly but now we should be given relief in these circumstances.
Mehreen Elahi said that are facing the difficult time and in the dire need of government patronage. Fashion Designer, Iqra Saqib said that the government should formulate a policy that would provide immediate relief to the people associated with our industry.
FPCCI seminar on post-lockdown scenario amid virus
Mian Anjum Nisar, President Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry said that coronavirus (COVID-19) has severely affected the economy, businesses, industries and small traders. He was speaking in the seminar on post lockdown scenario of COVID-19 and effects of coronavirus pandemic on Pakistan’s economy via video link on zoom held at Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Head Office Karachi.
The seminar was attended by Agha Fakhar Hussain, Additional Secretary Industry and Commerce, Government of Sindh, Sheikh Sultan Rehman, VP FPCCI, prominent businessmen and representatives of SBP, Principal and Dean of Dow University of Health Sciences, TDAP, PHMA and other associations.
Haji Ghulam Ali former President FPCCI, Qaiser Sheikh, VP FPCCI, Muhammad Ali Mian and Nasir Hayat Magoon also attended the seminar.
Sara Loren reveals first time in ‘Ishrat Made in China’
After making her mark in the international arena, the versatile actress Sara Loren reveals the first look of her Pakistani film, Ishrat Made in China’. The announcement was made during the week as the cast took to their Instagram accounts to share official posters of the film. ‘Ishrat Made in China’ marks the first time Loren will be seen in an action oriented role.
Sara Loren previously traveled to Thailand with the entire team of ‘Ishrat Made In China’ including the actors Mohib Mirza, Sanam Saeed and Shamoon Abbasi before the first coronavirus case was confirmed in Pakistan. Unfortunately, with the sudden announcement of the country going in lock down and suspending international and national flights, the cast and crew found themselves stranded in Thailand. After continuous appeals to the government, the film team was flown back and earlier also tested negative for COVID-19.
An Ek Alif Films and Eleven Films Presentation, ‘Ishrat Made in China’ features a star-studded cast including Sara Loren, Mohib Mirza, Shamoon Abbasi, Sanam Saeed, Mani, Nayyar Ejaz, Shabir Jan and Ali Kazim. The film is scheduled to be released during the current year.
